I got into the insurance industry to be able to feed my wife and four kids. When I started, it was to make money. I didn’t realize at the time that I was entering an industry that I would grow to love. When you think of insurance, you imagine a very boring, redundant profession. But it’s not. Every client is different. Everyone has different needs, which is why it’s rewarding. It’s nice to be able to help someone. Finding the best coverage, at the lowest price, is rewarding. While dealing with people can be rough, and I can tell you that there are all types, the diversity actually keeps things interesting and fun. Certainly not redundant or boring.
30 years ago, my vision was to build the best homeowner insurance agency in SW Florida. We started with one carrier and now represent most of the companies writing homeowners insurance in Florida. Treating everybody with respect, and living with the motto, ‘when in doubt, always take the high road’, takes you a long way. The area’s rapid growth has helped us fulfill our goals. I’ve been blessed with being able to find and keep good people. Our staff is a close-knit group of friends and family. This makes for a pleasant, fun place to work.
